王海东,笔名:文舟,1964年11月出生于甘肃临洮,大学本科毕业。先后深造于西北师范大学美术系,解放军艺术学院等。有过25年的军旅生涯,现供职于甘肃省公安厅。兼任:甘肃兰州青少年艺术协会副会长,甘肃兰州书画协会常务副主席,中国名人名作价格评审委员会委员,甘肃美术家协会会员,甘肃公安文联美协主席,国家一级美术师,中国公安文联理事,中国公安文联警用文物收藏委员会理事,兰州马家窑文化研究会专家,中国文博学院文物鉴定系古陶瓷鉴定方向客座教授,中国马家窑彩陶鉴定委员会专家等。

Wang Haidong, pen name: Wen Zhou, was born in Lintao, Gansu province in November 1964. He graduated from university. He studied in the Fine Arts Department of Northwest Normal University and PLA Art Academy. He has 25 years of military career and now works for the public security Department of Gansu Province. 经过西北师范大学、解放军艺术学院诸多专家名人指点,艺术风格进一步形成和完善,虾、蟹、鱼的画法十分精道,素有“西部水族画之王”的美称。

Guided by many experts and celebrities from Northwest Normal University and PLA Art Academy, the artistic style has been further formed and perfected. The painting techniques of shrimp, crab and fish are very refined, and are known as the "King of western aquarium painting".

王海东多才多艺,不仅是一位艺术家而且是彩陶研究、鉴定、收藏专家,2009年作为甘肃省唯一一位彩陶鉴定专家入编《中国当代文博专家志》。 2005年和2012年先后出版发行了研究专著《马家窑彩陶鉴识》和《国宝彩陶艺术鉴赏》,2017年王海东简历入编甘肃省小学卷教科书。

Wang Haidong is a versatile, not only an artist, but also an expert in the study, identification and collection of painted ceramics. In 2009, he was the only expert in the identification of painted ceramics in Gansu Province, and was included in the Compilation of Chinese Contemporary Cultural and Museological Experts. In 2005 and 2012, he published the research monographs "Recognition of Colored Pottery of Majiayao" and "Appreciation of The Art of Colored Pottery of National Treasure". In 2017, Wang Haidong was included in the volume textbook for primary schools in Gansu Province.
